LEADERSHIP &
ADMINISTRATION
I care about institutional change and work to shape it by creating spaces for growth and continued vision.
CORE VALUES
I try to understand the perspectives, interests, and concerns of the stakeholders with whom I work. I am a good listener.
Empathy
I ask questions because I want to understand (related to empathy) and ensure I am a thoughtful and responsive advocate.
Curiosity
I feel a sense of responsibility to my colleagues, my students, our community and, consequently, a sense of accountability for my work.
Responsibility
I work to stay true to these core values and operate with integrity. This means celebrating successes and acknowledging when I make mistakes.
Authenticity
Collaboration is central to what I do, but it is about more than working together. I strive to ensure my collaborators feel valued as members of a team.
Partnership
CURRENTLY WORKING ON:

“Dr. Maurantonio’s activism is never showy or flashy—she does the actual hard work of building coalitions and creating trust among her colleagues and her students, and offering an always insightful perspective and model of strong leadership.”
